The volume offers a comprehensive study of the settlement burials of infants on Elephantine Island in comparison with the infant burials of the island’s cemetery. The analysed features and finds of the infant burials from the settlement of Elephantine originate from the excavations of the DAI Cairo between 1981 and 2004.
