Überblick

The main activity of the European Coin Find Network consists in an annual meeting hosted by one of the particpating institutions, generally in conjunction with the Nomisma.org project. It's origins lie in a meeting of 10 people at the British Museum in October 2011 organised by Rick Witschonke. The first joint meeting with Nomisma.org took place the following year at the RGK in Frankfurt. Since then the Network has rapidly expanded and the tenth joint meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2023 attracted 178 particpants.
