Projektziele
The specific aims of the project are:
1. To collect relevant data and information on the archaeological record, environment and climate Cyprus and its surrounding regions at the time of the Late Pleistocene.
2. To develop pertinent mathematical models for use towards palaeodemography modelling in prehistoric Cyprus.
3. To employ frontier field research approaches (aerial drone surveys and multi-spectral imaging) to map terrestrial and nearshore targets on the Cypriot coastline informed by modelling outputs and field research to determine high potential areas for Pleistocene archaeology.
