Fragmented infant bones in a bowl from an early Egyptian grave document a sad life
It is a long way with many obstacles starting from the burying of an infant in Gebel es-Silsileh, Egypt, app. 3400–3300 BC to the anthropological investigation of its bones in Berlin 2015. After 5000 years, evidence of the probable cause of death of the infant can be obtained.
